Tip of the Month
One the most important aspects of maintaining dental hygiene is diet. Sugary foods linger in the mouth, feeding bacteria and causing them to multiply. Did you know that starch-based foods such as bread and pasta also contain sugar? Keeping your mouth clean by eating at regular meal-times and rinsing your mouth out with water after eating can keep your teeth healthy and white – and preserve your smile for years to come.

Luba Slome Dental Center
For the past 28 years, the Luba Slome Dental Center has been providing cutting edge dental care and education to Jerusalem residents. We work to help families experience the benefits of healthy teeth and healthy smiles.
Luba Slome's work is made possible by the generosity of our supporters and by a dedicated and highly trained staff of 45, including 16 dentists. Graduates of the best universities in Israel and around the world, Luba Slome's dentists choose to make a difference by offering their skills at reduced rates. Together with the children of the community, they bring a special atmosphere to the clinic which keeps patients and staff alike smiling.
Luba Slome is committed to providing comprehensive dental care for its patients. We believe community outreach and education is the key to reducing dental disease in the long term. That’s why we run educational programs to teach thousands of children and their parents how to preserve their smiles for years to come.
The Luba Slome Dental Center was the inspiration of its founder and president, Dr. Isaac Perle of Boston. With the help of former Jerusalem mayor Teddy Kolek, Dr. Perle founded Luba Slome in 1985 to provide quality dental care at affordable rates and to educate the community to improve dental habits and reduce oral disease. The formation of good dental habits, especially in early childhood, is essential for the prevention of costly, painful and potentially debilitating dental disease. Since 2005, Luba Slome's prevention programs have reached thousands of children and mothers. Click here to read about Luba Slome Family Dental Caries Prevention Program and how to join.
For the benefit of our patients and the community, Luba Slome prints and distributes informative educational material on maintaining oral health.
